Pak choi and Pork chop

  • 2x 150g pork chops
  • 100g mushrooms (shiitake)
  • 50g butter
  • 100ml white wine
  • 2g salt
  • 1g black pepper
  • 10 ml olive oil
  • 20g chopped white onion
  • 2g chopped garlic


  • Place a large ovenproof frying pan on the stove and place on high heat
  • While this is heating up, slice the mushrooms and season the pork with salt
  • Place the pork into the heated pan
  • Colour both sides around 2 minutes each
  • Once this is done add in the mushrooms, onion, garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes
  • Mix in the butter and place in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until the pork is cooked
  • Once the pork is cooked remove it from the pan and place the pan on a low heat, pour in the wine and bring to the simmer
  • Finish with the pak choi and serve!
