Plug Plants - Tea

Six herbal tea plug plants which continue to grow at home - grow your perfect cup of tea. The plants can be transferred outside and re-potted as they grow. The plants began their journey in a hydroponic farm with no pesticides, fungicides or herbicides - enhancing their quality and health benefits. Your order will contain Lemon Balm, Calendula, Chamomile, Echinacea, Mint and Red Holy Basil/Purple Basil!

Care Notes

The plugs are made from coconut husk which means that they will either need feeding with a small amount of a liquid fertiliser each week, or better still, pot them on into compost in pots and feed at weekly intervals to get the best from your plants. The whole plug can be moved into the compost, no need to remove the coconut husk which is biodegradable.

Lemon balm: Place on a sunny windowsill or other well lit environment, watering once every two - three days. Height & Spread: 50 x 40cm.

Calendula: Place on a sunny south-facing windowsill or other well lit environment, watering whenever the top of the substrate feels dry to the touch. Once the plant has been established for four - five weeks, promote flowering by not watering the plant for periods of three days. Height & Spread: 40cm.

Chamomile: Place on a sunny south-facing windowsill or other well lit environment. The substrate the plant grows in should be kept moist but not wet. Height & Spread: 15 x 30cm.

Echinacea: Place on a sunny south-facing windowsill or other well lit environment. Water so that the substrate is kept moist, but not wet. Height & Spread: 60 x 45cm.

Mint: Grow in indirect sunlight, watering when the top of the substrate feels dry to touch. Height: 30cm.

Red Holy Basil/purple basil: Place on a sunny windowsill or other well lit environment, watering whenever the top of the substrate begins to feel dry to touch. Height & Spread: 30 x 20cm.
