Please note that when you purchase Products on the MiniCrops Website the resulting legal contract is between you and us and is based on the Terms of Use.

Each order you place shall be deemed to be an offer by you to purchase the Products from us subject to the Terms of Use and the applicable product details. After you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation that we have received your order. You should carefully review these Terms of Use, the order confirmation and the applicable details on the product page in relation to the order. This confirmation email will signify acceptance of your order and a legally binding contract will be formed between you and us.

We will do all that we can to ensure that your order is fulfilled. Products are, however, subject to availability, so there may occasions that a Product is not available for delivery. As our operations are indoors, we are not affected by seasonality or weather conditions however other factors out of our control (force majeure) may ultimately impact production capabilities and capacity.

If we are unable to deliver an item you have ordered, you will not be charged for it. We will, however, bear no liability for unavailability of Products.

Subscription boxes are based on a ‘basket of goods’ approach where we supply a selection of different Products for each week, fortnight, or monthly box, whichever you have subscribed for. For each box, we will aim to change at least two Products in order to provide variation between boxes. The amount of change will be dependent on the frequency of your Subscription in conjunction with our production cycles.

We do not offer customers the opportunity to customise their Boxes. The exception to this is for customers who have a food allergy. At the time of subscribing to your Subscription, we ask you whether or not you have any allergies. MiniCrops and the Company will not be held responsible for any allergic reactions as a result of you failing to provide allergy information during the registration process. Equally, we will not be responsible if you have an allergic reaction through consumption of a Product that you are aware may contain traces of Produce that you may be allergic to. MiniCrops and the Company also do not bear responsibility for the same two previous points in reference to other people that you may offer Produce to from your subscription box. Our agreement is with you alone and our responsibilities extend to you alone.

The images of the Products listed on the MiniCrops Website are illustrative only. For box subscriptions, we show the box size in the respective images however the other produce shown in the image is indicative only. For full information on quantity and type of produce, please see the information section of the box.

For all boxes and individual items, we make every effort to be as accurate as possible, all sizes, weights, capacities, dimensions and measurements indicated on the MiniCrops Website are for information purposes only and are subject to a margin of error of +/- 10%. In transit, Products may gain or lose water dependent on air temperature and amount of moisture in the air at the time and place of transport. This may affect the net weight of the Product(s).

Each Product for which you click ‘Add to basket’ is added to a ‘shopping basket’ facility. You are given the opportunity to review the quantity of order of each item in your shopping basket when you choose to check out. You can change these, or cancel the purchase of each of the Subscription completely, at this stage, at any time before clicking ‘place order’. Unfortunately, you will not be able to make any amendments or corrections to your orders once they have been placed.

Payment for Subscription boxes will take place approximately one week prior to your next Subscription Box. The exact date of your next payment during a Subscription will be shown in the ‘Subscription’ section of your account on the website.

The standard cancellation period for ‘per box’ customers who are on a rolling contract is seven calendar days, including bank holidays.

Therefore, if you wish to cancel your Subscription, you must do so before midnight on the day, as shown in the previous paragraph. If you wish to cancel a subscription after this date, the Company will recoup any reasonable cost which will not exceed the cost of one Box, in line with your choice, plus an administrative fee of £5. Legal costs and cost of representation in the event of a legal challenge are considered separate to this.

If you have used a discount code or are using a MiniCrops offer, such as ‘10% off for 3-month sign-up,’ and cancel partway through your contract period, MiniCrops will also have the right to recoup the monies that you have saved through the discount or offer, up to and including the date of cancellation. This is to prevent customers from abusing the offers provided through our website.

In respect of non-perishable items, you have the right to cancel under The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (SI 2013/3134) (“CCRs”), the contract at any time until the expiry of the 14th working days after the day on which you receive the goods you ordered. Please note that you do not have a right under the CCRs to cancel orders in respect of food or other perishable items.

Any paid delivery charge will be included in your refund once we have received all (not part) of your order. Please note the delivery charge refund will be to the value of standard delivery. We will process your refund within 14 days of receipt of the returned products. You must take reasonable care of the goods while in your possession and they must be returned in a saleable condition such that they can be returned to the relevant Producer before we can issue your refund.

If you wish to return non-perishable items that you have ordered, please return your order together with your name, address, signature and the date you are returning the order to the MiniCrops, 3 Creekside, Deptford, London, SE8 4SA.

Products should be returned in or with any original packaging. We will arrange with you for cancelled non-perishable goods to be returned to us, at your cost, and we will credit your payment card with the price of such goods within a reasonable period from the day on which cancellation was given (provided payment has already been debited to your payment card).

Unfortunately, our website is unable to deal with the upgrading or downgrading of subscriptions. If you wish to make a change, you will need to contact our team directly at customers@minicrops.com or alternatively, complete a Contract period, cancel, then sign up for another contract under different terms.

All orders must be made within the order deadlines specified on the MiniCrops Website. You may submit orders for Products by using our online ordering facility on the MiniCrops Website at any time after you have created an account. The facility and our communications to you in relation to any order or contract will be in the English language. The facility allows you to review your order and make any corrections before submitting it to us and by submitting the order you confirm that you have made any such corrections.

Your submission of an order amounts to an offer to enter a contract to buy the Products from the individual Producers. Subject to the paragraph above, you cannot then withdraw or cancel your order except as stated above.

All prices for Products are inclusive of any applicable VAT.

For more information on ordering please contact admin@minicrops.com.

Delivery takes place five days per week and excludes weekends. All delivery slots are on a first-come-first-serve basis. For bank holidays, delivery will move to the next available day. Delivery days are also subject to change and if this occurs, we will notify you immediately to look for another suitable delivery date.

Please note that home delivery is currently only available in a limited area identified on the map on the MiniCrops Website. This should be deemed to be London and Greater London only. If delivery is available to your postcode, we will make delivery to the address provided by you at checkout.

We offer our Subscription customers FREE delivery on their respective days of delivery, as selected through the initial Registration process.

We also offer customers the opportunity to secure ‘premium’ delivery slots, which are a shorter duration and offer greater control and visibility over the delivery process. The cost of these slots varies and is subject to change. When ordering, you should carefully review the cost of your chosen delivery slot and the associated cost.

We always aim to deliver your goods within the delivery window. However, for where circumstances out of our control are involved, we cannot accept liability if we deliver the goods outside of this window or don’t deliver all or any of the goods in your order. If you feel that we have not provided a good or fair service, please email complaints@minicrops.com or call us directly, using the details on our website. For any complaints, we require evidence of any incident, such as a late delivery. All of our drivers also monitor, track, and record delivery times.

You are responsible for making suitable arrangements to receive your delivery and giving us appropriate instructions. In the event that your delivery is stolen from your doorstep or damaged while there, we do not accept liability, and will offer compensation at our discretion. We reserve the right to refuse to accept orders from any customer; considerations of delivery problems may give rise to such a refusal.

If we are unable to deliver to you, or have to deliver late, for reasons beyond our control, for example adverse weather conditions, strike actions, vehicle breakdown, traffic congestion or supplier failure, we cannot accept liability for any inconvenience or loss that this causes.

Please inspect the Products as soon as possible after delivery and notify us promptly if you find any defects, by mailing us on customers@minicrops.com. We will replace or refund you for defective Products. Otherwise our liability is limited.

MiniCrops is not liable nor responsible for the accuracy of the nutritional data provided on the MiniCrops website. All of our product information is based on research and is provided as a general guideline only. Because of the nature of our operations, it is difficult to continually monitor and report on the exact amount of vitamins and other ingredients, which may be subject to small changes over time – due to the success of the harvest and other similar factors. Therefore, the information provided simply states what is in the produce but not how much.

To provide our customers with further insight, we will undertake biannual and annual assessments of our produce, determining the exact level of ingredients. All results will be available on our website.

Customer should be acutely aware of the potential allergens contained in our produce and carefully read all labels before consuming any produce.

For further information on these matters, please contact the MiniCrops team at admin@minicrops.com.
